Security incident handling software company, Co3 Systems, announced today that Bruce Schneier had joined the company as CTO.
Schneier is a highly regarded author and cryptographer who writes frequently on topics of privacy and security. Recently he was called on to help interpret documents revealed by Edward Snowden that uncovered the NSA’s subversion of a NIST standard for an elliptic curve random number generator.
Co3 Systems is led by John Bruce who was CMO and EVP of sales and marketing of Counterpane, a managed security services firm founded by Bruce Schneier in 1999 and acquired by BT in 2006. The Register revealed on December 16th that Schneier was departing BT at the end of the year.
